Large centre lathe for large workpieces

Heller large lathes of the TPG series are designed for machining shafts, flanges and workpieces of large diameter and length. They have a swing over bed of 850 to 2000 mm and 1500 to 5000 mm between centres.

TPG series models

• TPG850: 850 mm swing, 100 mm spindle bore and speeds from 5 to 630 rpm, with 1500, 3000, 4000 or 5000 mm between centres.
• TPG1000: 1000 mm swing and 130 mm spindle bore, from 1500 to 5000 mm between centres.
• TPG1250, TPG1400, TPG1600 and TPG2000: swings from 1250 to 2000 mm, 130 mm spindle bore and one-piece cast iron bed, from 2000 to 5000 mm between centres (from 3000 mm on the TPG2000).

Standard equipment

Fagor two-axis digital readout (DRO), hardened guideways, rapid feed selector, four-jaw independent chuck, fixed steady rest and travelling steady rest, dead centres, coolant equipment, work light and CE certificate. The TPG850 and TPG1000 also have a hydraulic brake.
