Conventional grinding machine for precision finishes
A grinding machine removes material with an abrasive wheel to achieve dimensions and finishes that other machines cannot reach. Heller has two families of conventional grinding machines:
- Cylindrical grinders RCE, for parts of revolution such as shafts, pins or cylinders, with grinding lengths from 500 to 3000 mm.
- Surface grinders RSA, for flat surfaces, with tables from 450 x 150 to 1500 x 600 mm.
How to choose a grinding machine
It depends on the shape and size of the workpiece: for diameters, the cylindrical grinder; for flat faces, the surface grinder. In both families there are models with a Fagor digital readout and models with a Siemens NC2 control or Fagor 8055 CNC for series production.
