Overview
Heller TPG1600 large centre lathe
The TPG1600 centre lathe has a centre height of 805 mm and an adjustable distance between centres of 2000 to 5000 mm. Designed for heavy workpieces of up to 6 tonnes, it accepts maximum diameters of up to 1600 mm over bed and 2110 mm in the gap. It features an ISO A2-15 spindle, 21 mechanical speeds and longitudinal feeds of 0.064 to 12 mm/rev. Standard equipment includes a FAGOR X,Z digital readout, an independent 4-jaw chuck, fixed and travelling steady rests, a one-piece bed and a coolant system, guaranteeing accuracy and durability.
